So my razor-thin iMac (27″, late 2013 model) was more than stylish… it was painful! I kept getting a scratch on my mouse hand from its super-thin “ginsu” edge. My first solution – taping a bit of kitchen sponge over the corner with packing tape – was awkward and messy-looking. Then… I realized the awesome power of the clown nose.

Double-stick adhesive on either side keeps the round spongy sphere firmly in place. Naturally, it adds a touch of whimsy to my desk! But more than that, it looks and works great – pretty much a perfect design solution.

The lesson? Lateral thinking can produce great solutions that are right under your… nose.
